New furniture was installed in the math wing over the summer. These couches and chairs replaced the old, torn up couches that used to be in their place.

The furniture, located near the Eastern staircase has been a place many students use to study or relax. That being said, certain students don’t love the change. Sam Deignan ‘20 said, “I miss the old couch… the new chairs are not as comfortable so I don’t use that space anymore.” Whether it’s a positive change or not, the space remains a popular study spot for students during their free time.
