Get Cultured:

Diversifying our cultural awareness through food

What is culture? What makes it unique? What can we do to learn from/about other cultures?

Over this past summer, we continued to ask ourselves these questions, eager to broaden our sense of cultural awareness. Culture encompasses customs, art, social institutions and interactions, and achievements of people from a specific location, belief system, ethnic origin, language, and heritage. We believe that a key aspect of culture lies within food, which creates the perfect opportunity for us to be able to learn from and dive into what it means to be a global citizen. We hope that within our discoveries you will learn, share, and participate in diversifying your definition of our world’s cultures.
