Ice cream is a fun, refreshing treat that is especially popular in the summer. But, ice cream can sometimes be hard to reach and expensive. So, it is a wonderful idea to make homemade ice cream. Many ice cream recipes require an ice-cream churner, so I set out to find a no-churn, yet yummy, ice cream recipe. On Pinterest, an easy and delicious chocolate ice cream recipe is provided by Whitney Bond.
1. The first step is to combine the condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, and sea salt and whisk them together.
2. For the next step, an electric hand mixer is needed. In a separate bowl, use the mixer to whip the heavy cream until fluffy.
3. Combine the two mixtures gently. Then, freeze the resulting mixture for five hours, minimum. The mixture will have bubbles from whipping the heavy cream.
The results are incredible. The ice cream is fluffy, flavorful, and creamy. I added sprinkles and white chocolate chips which added a lot to the flavor. The ice cream is perfect to satisfy any sweet tooth and it is homemade!
