When was the last time you went to an apple orchard in the fall? Maybe it was a hangout with friends or bonding time with family, regardless, I bet it was probably a while ago. Here are some top apple orchards to visit this fall!
Whistling Well Farm (Hastings, MN): Located in downtown St. Paul, Whistling Well Farm fosters a fun space in the fall. They’ve been selling and harvesting apples since 1972 and sell a plethora of apples. They offer apples and pumpkins of all kinds, letting you pick your own which is perfect for this upcoming fall season! An actual wishing well is also located at the orchard and all proceeds are donated to the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital.
Minnetonka Orchards (Minnetrista, MN): This orchard is situated around 30 minutes west of Minneapolis and provides different activities such as numerous places for taking photos and hand picking your own apples. They also host different events such as fall weddings and corporate meetings. Arguably one of the best elements of the entire orchard is the apple slingshot, which was once being featured on an episode of “The Bachelor!”
Applewood Orchard (Lakeville, MN): located south of downtown Minneapolis is Applewood Orchard. Located in the South Metro, they have more than 20 varieties of apples, playgrounds and spaces for family time, hayrides, and caramel apples.
